Community guidelines
AlumniClub works because everyone here is verified and using their real name. These are the expectations that keep it that way.
Last updated August 2026
Be yourself, verifiably
Use your real name, your actual school, and your real employer. Badges signal that someone checked — don't undermine that.
Answer like a senior would
Specific, honest answers beat vague encouragement. If you don't know, say so, or point to someone who does.
Mentorship is a favour, not a service
Students: come prepared, be concise, and follow up with thanks. Alumni: accept only what you can genuinely commit to.
No demanding referrals, and no paying for one.
Job and event posts must be real
Post roles that exist, with accurate location, pay expectations where possible, and a working application link. No lead-generation bait.
Not allowed
Harassment, discrimination, sexual advances, doxxing, sharing private messages or documents, spam, and recruiting or investment scams.
Reporting
Every post, comment, and profile has a report action. Reports go to a moderation queue reviewed by staff, and we act on badges and accounts when needed.
